Square U Bolts are the shape of a "U” which form two legs. The threaded ends are designed and manufactured for use with nuts & washers. U-bolts are designed to be inserted through drilled holes.

Square bend U-bolts are typically utilized when attaching a product to a square shaped post. They can also be set / fixed in concrete & used as strong anchor bolts. Round bend U-bolts are typically used for attaching pipe or steel round bar to a round wood or steel post. Another common application is to secure or hang pipe in mechanical installations.
