ADOS BLACK RTV NEUTRAL CURE SILICONE SEALANT

ADOS Black RTV Neutral Cure is a single component, general purpose, fast curing silicone formulated to seal and bond most materials. It is a non-corrosive, low odour sealant that quickly and effectively forms a durable, permanently flexible weatherproof seal at room temperature. ADOS Black RTV Neutral Cure has exceptional resistance to oil, grease, chemicals, weathering, temperature extremes, moisture and vibration, making it ideal for most automotive and marine sealant applications. It is capable of high joint movement up to 20%.ADOS Black RTV Neutral Cures’ superior adhesion strength makes it ideal for automotive and marine sealant applications, general sealing and bonding, windscreen sealing applications, gasketing, maintenance and assembly applications, and can also be used with zinc-coated/galvanised metal products, aluminium frames and fibreglass to glaze, seal and weatherproof.

Applications

General purpose adhesive and sealant for ceramics, steel, aluminium, concrete, brick, glass, chrome, rubber, bare metals, gel-coated surfaces, filon, vulcanized rubber, non-oily woods, polyurethane foam, PVC most painted surfaces and most plastics. Ideal for automotive and marine sealant applications. Provides excellent adhesion to zinc-coated/galvanised metals, aluminium and fiberglass. Weather sealing. Draught proofing. Sealing leaking windows and windscreens. Sealant and adhesive for many automotive applications. Formed-inplace gasketing. Butt or lap shear joints. Plastic to metal in curtain wall assemblies. Metal to concrete in perimeter sealing. Plumbing applications. Metal roofing systems. Spouting/flashing and down-pipes. Skylights. Metal and PVC flues/extraction units. Pipe or sprinkler system penetrations. Air conditioning ducting. Sheet-metal fabrications. Seal assemblies, conduits, electrical connectors, motors, control boxes, and housings. Sealing appliance parts. Offers oil resistance for use in gear boxes, engines, pumps and flanges. NOT for use with petrol or diesel. Designed for diverse OEM and assembly applications. Sealing refrigerator and freezer liners. Adhering plastic mouldings to plastic substrates for trim applications, decals. Waterproofing electrical components. Sealing coaxial connectors. Protecting instrumentation assemblies. Applying silicone sealant.
